1.      Overview

        This file contains new information which may not be printed in
        the manual. If any information is contrary to the manual, the
        contents of this file is to be applied.

        NOTE: not all utilities discribed in the following are supported
              by all ELSA graphics adapters!

2.      Contents

        Almost all files are compressed, their names are slightly
        changed. Please note that the files can NOT just be copied
        from this disk.

3.      Installation

3.1     Automatically installation

        To install the "ELSA WINman Suite" under Windows 95, you have to
        run the SETUP.EXE in this directory. In the
        dialog comming up now, the hardware and the operating system is
        identified, and the available tools are displayed. To install
        the "ELSA WINman Suite" choose this item in the window "Instal-
        lation of:" with the arrow buttons or with the mouse and click
        the "Install" button. Now the files will be copied.

3.2     Manual installation

        It is no problem to install the "ELSA WINman Suit" for Windows 95
        manually. For that purpose change to the directory of the tool
        you want to install (e.g. WIN95_NT\WINMSUIT) and click with the
        right mous button on the file with the extension *.INF
        (e.g.WINMSUIT.INF). Select in the context menu the item "Install".
        The program files will be copied.

4.      Description of the WINMANsuite

        ELSA Settings          Tool to define new resolutions, change
                               the screen position and adjust monitor
                               timing
        ELSA Info              Shows information about the installed
                               ELSA graphics board
        ELSA WINman Suite      Central control program for using the
                               programs mentioned above
        DirektX Settings       Shows actual DirectX status, and allows
                               control filtering

4.1     ELSA Settings

        ELSA Settings allows you to define new resolutions, set monitor
        refresh rates, change the screen position and adjust the monitor
        timing. It is possible to set any individual timing your
        hardware supports.

4.2     ELSA Info

        The ELSA Info page shows a range of information about your Windows
        system and the ELSA graphics board installed. Not just important
        hardware information like detailed designation of the ELSA
        graphics board, memory expansion and BIOS version is displayed, but
        also the version of the graphics driver and the Windows version.

4.3     ELSA WINman Suite

        The WINman Suite is the central control program to reach straight
        to the ELSA tools, ELSA Settings, DirectX Settings, and ELSA Info.

4.4     DirectX Settings

        The "DirectX Settings" is a page in the "Properties for Display"
        under Windows 95 to show the current status of the DirectDraw and
        Direct3D and allows to set several filters to succeed optimal
        performance of your ELSA graphics board.
